Thanks for taking the time to visit.
This is the space where I tell you a bit about me. So here’s well over half a century’s worth in just a few lines. Now you can work out out my age, give or take a few years – I’d prefer if you take!
I was born in Scotland, but have lived in Australia for most of my life. I have amazing family and friends scattered across the planet. I was an educator most of my working-life, but have also dabbled in marketing/communications and writing for the non-profit sector.
I have travelled to over 50 countries and my experiences of seeing new places and people inspire many of my posts. I also like to write about things that make me ponder, get mad, laugh and cry.
My greatest weakness is fear of failure —a stumbling block that has prevented me from attempting many things, including writing a blog. As I age I refuse to listen to the inner critic and focus instead on how much I enjoy the creative process of writing in this space.
Love reading your work. It is so real and passionate. What project would you like for us to be praying about at this time? Also, if you get a chance take a look at our website and forum stories and let us know what you think. Following you on Twitter.
Really enjoyed your post. I work into St. mary’ each day confident I am where I am supposed to be. My greatest thrill is that I can be authentic in who I am and also, that I work in an environment where I am valued andaffirmed.
Good to read your account of your latest visit to Ghana. You have a real gift of writing. Look forward to your next piece.
